Have Questions? We’re Here to Help
Find answers to common questions about our programs, participation, and how to get involved with Glow Sister Sister Empowerment Hub.
Who can participate in your programs?
Our programs are designed for Black girls and young women between the ages of 10 and 25. Some activities are age-specific, and we always ensure programs are developmentally appropriate and safe.
Where are your programs held?
We offer programs across Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area. Some sessions are in person, while others may be offered virtually depending on the program and accessibility needs.
Is there a cost to join your programs?
Many of our programs are offered at low cost or free of charge thanks to donations, grants, and community support. Any program fees, if applicable, will always be clearly communicated in advance.
How do I register or apply for a program?
You can register directly through our website using the program registration form. Once submitted, our team will follow up with next steps and additional details.
How do you ensure a safe and supportive environment?
Creating safe, respectful, and affirming spaces is central to our work. All facilitators and volunteers are carefully screened, and our programs are guided by clear safety, confidentiality, and care standards.
How can I volunteer or become a mentor?
We welcome volunteers who are passionate about empowering Black girls. You can apply through our Volunteer page, and our team will contact you with information about training, roles, and expectations.
How are donations used?
Donations directly support our programs, including mentorship sessions, wellness initiatives, workshops, community events, and Glow Hygiene Kits. Funds also help us expand access to girls who may not otherwise be able to participate.
How can organizations or schools partner with you?
We collaborate with schools, community groups, and organizations that share our mission. Please contact us through our website to discuss partnership opportunities and customized programming.
